Additin SP specialty products provide solutions for special requirements to meet individual customers demands. Specialty products exhibit properties which are essential for special applications and processes.
Our specialties in brief:
Synthetic and polymeric esters: show excellent affinity and tenacity to metal surfaces as a result of their composition from specially selected raw materials and in particular the multi-stage manufacturing processes. The low viscosity Additin RC 8103, the high-molecular weight Additin RC 8000 (also contains sulfur) and Additin RC 8100 are generating very effective lube coatings in difficult metal working operations.
EP additives and yellow metal deactivators: Additin RC 8210 and RC 8213 are derivatives of Thiadiazole. These products act as yellow metal deactivators and also provide EP- properties (see also “corrosion inhibitors”). Extreme pressure properties help to prevent metal damage under severe operation conditions.
Anti-hydrolysis agents: Hydrolysis is an undesired side reaction of ester based lubricants. Additin RC 8500 works as a stabilizer against hydrolysis by a highly selective acid scavenger mechanism which prolongs the working life of ester based fluids.
