Rhein Chemie and LANXESS at the ITEC

Rhein Chemie Corporation exhibited at the International Tire Exhibition and Conference (ITEC) in Cleveland, Ohio on September 21-23, 2010. 

ITEC was created in 1994 to help tire manufacturers focus on what really happens in the manufacturing of tires—the science, the technology, commitment and persistence that goes into turning an idea into the tire of the future.  World-class exhibitors showcased their complete product line from equipment, tire building machinery and compounds to light truck tires, mining, OTR, farm and industrial tires and, of course, passenger and high-performance tires.  This year’s event evolved to encompass everyone in the North American tire industry from technology and manufacturing through distribution and recycling.

Presentations
Steven Monthey, Application Technologist, presented New Process Promoters for Highly Loaded Silica Tire Tread Compounds.  The paper was co-authored by Dr. Martin Saewe of Rhein Chemie Rheinau GmbH.
