ACS Rubber Expo 2009
Chardon, OH -The Rubber Division, ACS hosted 3,200 attendees for the Rubber ExpoTM and 176th Technical Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 13-15, 2009. With 220 exhibitors as well as the number of attendees, this year's exposition was very successful during this difficult economic strain on the rubber industry.
Rhein Chemie Corporation, a subsidiary of LANXESS Corporation and supplier of products and services for the polymer and chemical processing industries, showcased its capabilities as a solutions provider this year’s exposition. The company highlighted its pre-weighed, batch-ready cure systems, specialty polymer-bound cure systems and broad range of performance chemicals for the rubber industry. Rhein Chemie Corporation provided extra support to the Rubber Division for its centennial celebrations.
In addition to booth presence, Rhein Chemie presented three technical papers during the 176th Technical Meeting of the ACS:
