Rhein Chemie just recently has introduced diphenyl guanidine (DPG) in powder form. This is for the benefit of particularly those rubber manufacturers who are not able to process DPG in pre-dispersed, granular form, e.g. in latex or in pharmaceutical applications. While Rhenocure DPG/C is coated with two per cent of oil and therefore non-dusting, Rhenocure DPG is a non-coated powder. Rubber processors who are not depending on DPG in powder form the pre-dispersed version in polymerbound, granular form as Rhenogran DPG-80 is available. Rhenogran DPG-80 is offering the well-known advantages like dustless handing, quick and excellent dispersion as well as a more favourable toxicological rating.
