On May 13, 2010 LANXESS officially started work on construction of its first production facility in Russia. In the future, LANXESS subsidiary Rhein Chemie will produce rubber chemicals in Dzerzhinsk in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the markets in Russia and the CIS.

Mannheim - Rhein Chemie is launching the construction of a production plant in Russia, near the city of Nizhny Novgorod, which lies to the east of Moscow. Polymer-bound rubber chemicals (Rhenogran®) and release agents for the rubber processing industry – for example manufacturers of technical rubber goods and tires – will be produced here. ...more
